Sistemas Educativos Formales y Efectos Mateo, Regresivo y Robin Hood

El académico Raúl Pizarro Sanchez presenta un interesante artículo que apareció en el Boletín de Investigación Educacional, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (2008); 23, 2, 13-38. RESUMEN

Se presentan relaciones entre sistemas educativos formales -metodologías instruccionales,interaccionales y evaluativas- y efectos Mateo, Regresivo y Robin Hood. La educaciónconvencional produce a micro nivel investigativo efectos Mateo, donde todos aprenden, pero genera mediocridad normalizada de fuerte inequidad. A nivel macro investigativo, y con amplitud masiva de acceso y cobertura, genera también efectos Regresivos de calidad algo baja y mayor inequidad. Conversamente, el efecto Educativo Robin Hood, tiende a reducir/minimizar los efectos Mateo y Regresivo, y obtiene fuertes asimetrías negativas, elevación de dominios y baja dispersión de aprendizajes. Para lograrlo, se sugieren síntesis educativas experimentales para la sociedad escuela + familia en Lenguaje y Comunicación (Automaticidad en Lectura + Currículum del Hogar Mejorado) y Educación Matemática (MasteryLearning Mejorado y Currículum del Hogar Mejorado).

ABSTRACT

FORMAL EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS AND MATTHEW, REGRESSIVE AND ROBIN HOOD EFFECTS

Some relations between formal educational –instructional, interactional and evaluative methods- systems and Matthew, Regressive and Robin Hood effects, are presented. Conventional education produces Matthew effect at micro level research, where every body learns, but generates normalized mediocrity of strong inequality. At macro level research, and with massive access and coverage, it also produces Regressive effects of lower educational quality and higher inequality. Conversely, Educational Robin Hood effect tends to reduce/eliminate Matthew and Regressive effects, with strong negative skewness, enhancement of educational standars, and lower dispersions of learning. For pursuing it, educational experimental synthesis involving school + family partnerships in Language (Reading Automaticity + Enhanced Curriculum of the Home) and Mathematics (EnhancedMastery Learning + Enhanced Curriculum of the Home), are suggested.
